Product Details

A duo designed for deep rest and relaxation. Our eco-friendly, luxury weighted blanket is made with lead-free mini glass beads and materials certified to be free of all toxic and harmful chemicals + our luxurious cotton duvet cover, sized to perfectly fit our weighted blankets.

We are the only quilted weighted blanket with 100% cotton throughout, zero polyester linings or filling. But we didn’t stop there—we're carbon neutral, ocean positive, and use only compostable, plastic-free packaging.

Why You'll Love It

A comforting embrace: Designed to mold to your body like a gentle hug, helping you feel safe, calm, and peaceful.

Premium materials: Crafted with organic cotton and a breathable, lightweight design for year-round comfort.

Mindful fill: We use tiny, crystal-clear glass beads (not plastic pellets)—which is better for the planet, and better for deep, restful sleep.

Beautifully practical: The included cotton duvet cover makes it easy to keep your sanctuary fresh and clean.

Perfect For...

We believe good rest is something every person deserves. This versatile 12lb throw size is wonderful for:

Creating a cozy sanctuary on your sofa or favorite reading chair.

Very well made

Enjoying my blanket. The first one I got was too heavy for me so I return it and got the lighter one. It was easy to do and I got it in no time. I had pay for return on my first purchased which made it easy. If you are not sure what you need pay for return upfront just incase it was like $4.

Weighted blanket

I like the feeling of the blanket like I feel safer in my sleep but it’s heavy and likely needs an adjustment period. It’s not hot and it’s soft

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this weighted blanket make me hot?

Baloo weighted blankets are made with premium 100% cotton. Where other brands have a polyester interior liner which traps heat, Baloo has only clean, breathable cotton. The weight itself comes from lead-free glass mini beads which themselves don't trap heat, giving the blanket pure breathability. Body temp stays regulated in all climates, through all seasons, including all seasons of life.

How do I care for my blanket and duvet cover?

Machine wash the Cotton Duvet Cover in cold water with like colors and tumble dry low. Wash the Weighted Throw by itself in cold water on a gentle cycle and dry on low heat. Do not dry clean or iron, and avoid using bleach on the weighted blanket.

Is 12 pounds the right weight for me?

The 12lb throw is our most versatile size. It is perfect for daytime relaxation, sharing on the couch, or for anyone who wants a comforting touch without the heavier weight of a bed-sized blanket. It's a wonderful way to show yourself compassion and invite restorative rest into your daily routine.

What happens if it's not for me?

Try the blanket for 30 days, and if it's not right, exchange it for a different size or style with free shipping both ways! Prefer a refund? Returns are free if you choose "free returns" at checkout. Either way, you're covered for a full 30 days.

(Unfortunately, international orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges, although EU customers are protected by the Right to Withdraw for 14 days after delivery).
